This legendary line, established by Jure Golob and now the most repeated 9a route in Slovenia, remains a benchmark for any top climber visiting Mišja peč. Potočar ’s ascent once again proves his impressive form, transferring his competition skills onto real rock with precision and determination.
More strong performances in Istria
Another Slovenian competitor, Lovro Črep, visited Mišja peč as well, sending the chipped Marioneta (8b+) and the long and beautiful Sreča vrtnice (8b) on his second go.
Local climber from Trieste, Luca Bacer redpointed the endurance testpiece Millenium (8b+) in Mišja peč and the steep El trabajo del borracho extension (8c) in Skedenj, showcasing both power and consistency across the Istrian crags.
From the Czech Republic, Jan Vopat made quick work of the powerful Missing drink (8b+) and onsighted Mozaik (8a) in Mišja peč. On the Croatian side near Buzet, he climbed the short and bouldery Bonsai (8b) in Kamena vrata.
In shady Skedenj, Jaka Šprah sent the steep Fight the Faida (8b), while Italian climber Luca Camanni ticked La roulette (8b) on his second go.
