Katarina Kejžar and La Pesta nera in Baratro

Katarina, one of the most beautiful climbing coaches ever, managed to tick her second hardest ascent in her life…. La pesta nera in Baratro, 8b+. She tried it briefly last year, but then the walls of Baratro got totally wet by the autumn rain, so the climbing season there was over. After hard winter trainings she got stronger than ever and returning to Baratro she succesfuly topped out Le Pesta nera, a 45 degree overhanged 60 move endurance monster with no proper rests in between. She nicely described her fight with “the black plague”, which is the name of the route in English, in her blog post here.
