SAFETY WARNING – KOMPANJ

If you’re planning to go climbing at Kompanj, please make sure to use only the official access path to reach the crag.

From the parking area, follow the marked trail straight uphill to the sectors Olymp and Krankenhaus, then traverse left to reach the remaining sectors. This is the only recommended and safe approach.

Do not use the path through the village of Klobasi, and avoid any trails that cross private property. There have been serious incidents involving a local individual who has threatened climbers in this area, making these approaches unsafe.

Climbing is possible in all sectors of Kompanj, with no restrictions, including the Klobasi sector. The warning applies only to access paths, not to climbing itself.

If you encounter any aggressive or threatening behavior, leave the area immediately and contact the police by calling 112.
