Mišja peč, Medveja and Skedenj redpoints
Redpoints from Istria
Polish climber Piotr Schab recently redpointed the legendary Martin Krpan (9a) in the famous Mišja peč crag in Osp. During his trip to Slovenia and Croatia, he also successfully climbed Sanjski par extension (9a) in the same crag, confirming his excellent form on the sharp limestone of the region.
Meanwhile, Italian climber Cristian D’Anzul completed his long-term project The Core (8c+) in the picturesque Knezgrad sector of Medveja. The powerful seaside line is considered one of the standout routes of the cliff.
In Skedenj, Slovenian climber Jaka Šprah came very close to an onsight ascent of Onda anomala (8b), eventually sending the route on his third attempt.
